Staying up-to-date with your COVID-19 vaccination is one of the most effective steps you can take to protect yourself and those around you from severe illness, hospitalisation, and death. At South Stret Pharmacy, we are proud to support the national vaccination programme and offer both NHS-funded and private COVID-19 vaccinations.

NHS Autumn/Winter Vaccination Programme (2025/2026)

The NHS vaccination programme is targeted towards those at the highest risk of serious complications from the virus. We provide the latest, most up-to-date vaccines recommended to combat the circulating strains ahead of the winter season.

Who is Eligible for a Free NHS Vaccine this Season?

In line with the advice from the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI), the following groups are typically eligible for a free COVID-19 vaccine during the Autumn/Winter 2025/2026 campaign:

Adults aged 75 years and over (including those who will turn 75 by January 31, 2026).
Residents in a care home for older adults.
Individuals aged 6 months and over who are immunosuppressed due to a health condition or treatment (as defined in the relevant UK guidance).

Private COVID-19 Vaccination Service

If you are not eligible for a free NHS vaccine but wish to receive the protection of an updated booster, you can access our Private COVID-19 Vaccination Service.

Who is the Private Service For?

This service is suitable for individuals who fall outside the current NHS eligibility criteria but want to top up their immunity. This includes, but is not limited to:

Adults under 75 years of age without a severely weakened immune system.
Frontline workers who are no longer covered by the national programme.
Anyone seeking additional protection for travel, work, or personal reasons.
